24/7 hours support

If you have ever tried to hire temporary staff in Lagos on short notice, you already know the pain. You call contacts, post in WhatsApp groups, ask a friend who knows someone, and hope for the best. Half the time the person does not show up. The other half, you overpay an agency that takes days to respond.

And if you are on the other side — a skilled, hardworking person looking for flexible income — the story is not much better. Opportunities are scattered, informal, and unreliable. You hear about a gig too late. Payment is delayed or disputed. There is no record of the good work you did, no way to build a reputation, no structure.

This is the problem Workflex was built to solve.

So, What Exactly Is Workflex?

Workflex is a digital marketplace that connects businesses with verified, flexible workers for short-term, shift-based, and on-demand jobs across Africa.

Think of it as the infrastructure for flexible work. On one side, businesses — restaurants, event companies, retail stores, logistics firms, warehouses — can post a shift and get matched with qualified, available workers nearby. On the other side, workers can browse real opportunities, apply in seconds, show up, work, and get paid automatically through the app.

No contracts. No middlemen. No chasing payments. Everything happens through the platform.

Why Nigeria, Why Now?

Nigeria has one of the youngest and fastest-growing workforces on the continent. Millions of skilled young people are looking for income that fits around their lives — not the other way around. At the same time, businesses in high-demand sectors like hospitality, events, and logistics are constantly understaffed, particularly during peak periods.

The tools that exist today were not built for this market. Traditional staffing agencies are slow, expensive, and analogue. General job boards are built for permanent roles. Informal networks are unreliable and unaccountable.

Workflex is built specifically for the African flexible work market — mobile-first, low-bandwidth friendly, and integrated with local payment infrastructure from day one.

How It Works

The platform has three types of users:

Workers create a profile, verify their identity, set their availability and skills, and browse shifts near them. When they find something that fits, they apply with a single tap. Once confirmed by the business, they show up, check in via GPS or QR code, complete the shift, and get paid directly into their Workflex wallet. From there they can withdraw to any Nigerian bank account or mobile money number at any time.

Businesses create a company profile and post shifts directly from a web dashboard. They set the role, location, pay rate, date, and number of workers needed. Applications come in from verified, rated workers and the business selects who they want. Once the shift is done and approved, payment is processed automatically — no invoices, no manual bank transfers.

Admins manage the platform behind the scenes — handling verifications, resolving disputes, and keeping the marketplace running smoothly and fairly for everyone.

What Makes Workflex Different

There are a few things that set Workflex apart from anything else available in the market today.

The first is speed. From posting a shift to having it filled can happen in under a few hours. For businesses dealing with last-minute staffing needs, that is a game changer.

The second is trust. Every worker on Workflex goes through an identity verification process before they can take a shift. After every completed shift, both the worker and the business rate each other. Over time, this builds a reliable, transparent reputation system that benefits everyone on the platform.

The third is payments. Workers on Workflex are not chasing anyone for their money. Salary is automatically credited to their wallet the moment a shift is approved. Businesses fund their wallet upfront, so there are no payment surprises on either side.

The fourth is that Workflex was built for Africa. The app is designed to work on affordable Android smartphones with limited data. Payment integrations support Nigerian banking infrastructure and mobile money. And the entire platform is structured to expand country by country, starting with Nigeria.
